How to Format and Install Windows XP in Your Computer?

Windows XP is one of the most popular and flexible operating system which is used by plenty of computer users currently. If you have any problem in your computer operating system or have an idea to change the operating system, Here is the quick tips about how to format and install windows XP in your computer.

• Check your CD Drive and make sure that there is no disks present in the Drive, then insert the windows installation CD that should be bootable.

• If the CD does not boot then make sure the CD drive is in the first boot. Now press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to restart and press the delete key when startup your PC. Go to the CMOS settings and change the CD drive in the first boot then save.

• This will finally boot your CD and also inform you whether you boot your CD or not by pressing any key. So continue by pressing any key.

• It imports your configuration in a blue screen and waits for the welcome to setup screen. Once you get the “Welcome to Set Up” screen press the enter key to set up windows and also press the “C” key to continue the setup.

• Now press the F8 key to agree for the terms and conditions and follow to press the “C” key to create a partition. You can enter the size of the partition or just pressing the enter key to use maximum size.

• Then select the “New (unformatted)” option and press the Enter Key. You can also need to select the NTFS or FAT file system. If you are not sure then select the NTFS file system.

The installation process begins to continue and it will restart automatically. Finally it will ask you to press any key but here you should not press any key because it repeats the third step again. Once the loading completed it ask you for the CD key. Enter your CD key then enter the date, time and location and wait until it completes the process.
