Keyboard is one of the important input devices in the computer. It plays the major role in entering the input to the computer. Sometimes our keyboard may become fault this is due to the grimy appearance on the keyboard. Due to this keys will stuck and makes the keyboard not to work. For this we need not to buy a new keyboard, instead we can clean our computer keyboard by the following steps.
• In order to clean the keyboard we can purchase any supplies such as compressed air, a soft rag, cleaning fluid that is suitable for cleaning the plastic.
• Make sure that the keyboard manufacturers have given any instruction about the cleaning process then we follow them.
• Before starting to clean the keyboard, you need to shut down the computer and unplug the keyboard from your computer.
• Then by using the compressed air clean the dust which is presented in between the keys. Spray the air at an angle that can dislodge the dust and grime.
• Even the air has sprayed on the keyboard but still there will be some dust present on the surface of the keyboard. For this shake gently to get the dust rid out of the key board.
• If you are using any cleaning fluid then it is necessary to follow the manufacturer instructions. Otherwise you can spray a little amount of fluid into a rag and wipe the keys and chassis.
We have to wait for sometimes for the keyboard to get dry. Once the keyboard is dry then plug the keyboard and restart the computer. Now the keyboard is cleaned and can used in computer without any fault.
