To keep your pet animals healthy and avoid dental problems, its very important to clean your pet animals teeth regularly. Here is the Quick tips to how to clean and brush your Dog’s teeth. Most of the pet animals like dog and cat didn’t co-operate with you to clean their teeth’s. You have to practice them to brush their teeth. Teach your Dog with small steps and repeat it daily until its moves from one step to next.
1. Find a perfect time when your dog is relaxed and comfortable as well as you..
2. Before proceed to clean teeth, Slowly and gently rub your dogs muscle and lift the upper lip to exposing the teeth.
3. Once you feels comfortable, then Dip your finger into cleaning solutions (We suggest you to C.E.T. poultry flavored toothpaste, because pets like the taste..) and allow them to lick something from your finger.
4. Rub gently your pets teeth and gum in a circular motion without making any pain to your pet. Proceed to clean up to 30-45 Seconds each time. It just a preliminary step to clean your dogs teeth.
5. Then its time to start your dogs teeth actual cleaning. Soak with Dental solution or toothpaste (use the toothpaste or dental solution specially formulated for dogs) and gently rub your dog teeth in circular motion. You can also use pads and cleaning sponges for this step and soon your dog ready for brushing.
6. Choose the toothbrush especially made for pet animals and fits their mouth. Select high quality tooth paste and choose favorite flavor of choice of your dog. Apply the toothpaste in your dog gum line.
7. Now get ready to brush. Hold your Dog head gently and handle the brush 45º Degrees to the gum line and brush in circular motion. Start brushing from one end to other end as well as inside of the gum too.
With regular checkups and routine home care you can keep your dog teeth healthy by just spending few minutes of time each day. Be sure treat your pet after each session. It will really encouraging to your pet and it will co-operate from next session.

Var hittar jag en tandborste till min lilla siameskatta. Det fanns någotsånär små tandborstar på apoteket för något år sedan…innan djurapoteken uppstod…. men nu finns det bara jättehårda på djursjukhus och djuraffärer….. du vet de där med en liten i ena änden och en för sankt bernhardshundar i den andra. (Vi har köpt och provat de flesta produkter som finns att få tag på i Sverige, inklusive mellanficksborstar.)
Jag har sökt hos Royal Canin och Hill´s och alla som säljer djurtillbehör på kattutställningar (under hela 2007 ca 20 utställningar) samt självklart många djurapotek men….tyvärr…stora tops från apoteket är vad jag kan finna. Alla skickar mig till någon annan men ingen har skickat mig någonstans där det finns en tandborste som fungerar. Katterna tycker om att bli borstade men inte med flaskborstar eller ens babytandborstar som mycket stora i en siamesmun. Så kan du hjälpa mig och har hittat var de finns skulle jag bli mycket glad om du ville maila mig.
