• Logon to you user account and click the “Start” option available in the taskbar. Now select the “Control Panel” from the start menu.
• On selecting the control panel it will open the new window and from this choose the “User Accounts” link to obtain the user account window.
• On selecting the user accounts it will open the new window. Here you find another “User Accounts” option under the “Pick a control panel icon”. Now click again the user accounts which will open the second window.
• In the newly opened window, choose the account you wish to change the password for the purpose of accessing the window.
• Now select the “Change my Password” link and type your current password in the first text box then new password in the second text box and in the third text box to confirm your password change.
Finally in the last text box type the password hint. Once you completed the above mentioned instructions then you have successfully changed the password. Now you can logon to your user account with the new password.
